The Asus Zenfone 3 was announced in July . It is a successor to the Zenfone 2 which was one of their flagship phones.
The Asus Zenfone 3 features a 5.5 inch screen with a resolution of 1080*1920 pixels that comes to a PPI of 424 . It weighs at 144g and 7.7mm thick
The smartphone is powered by the Octa core Snapdragon 625 (2.0 GHz Cortex A-53) & Adreno 506 GPU.
It comes with 3 GB of ram along with 32GB of internal storage and support for microSD card upto 256GB (uses 2nd sim slot) . It comes with a hybrid dual sim and runs on Android 6.0.1 with Asus ZenUI on top.
The camera is a 16MP shooter with an aperture of f/2.0 with laser/phase detection autofocus , 4-axis OIS and dual LED flash and is capable of shooting 1080p videos @ 30fps . The front facing camera is a 8MP shooter with an aperture of f/2.0 and is capable of shooting 1080p videos @ 30fps.
Apart form this it supports dual band wifi , a fingerprint scannner , and USB Type C with Quickcharge 2.0.
All this is powered by non removable 2,600 mAh battery.
